As in all industry today, technology and staffing are what makes or breaks a company. FLS has remained ahead of the technological game since the day we started doing business. We have the ability to allow our customers to track their own loads via the internet and we can locate a shipment through satellite tracking devices equipped on each of our power units. We have full EDI capabilities for both load tendering and invoicing. We understand that no customer is the same and nor are the needs of each customer, so the customization of the available technology can be done so it meets your needs. This way you can view and attain information according to what you need and rather what the carrier is willing to provide.

Technology has played a major role in streamlining businesses and allowing for quicker information attainment. Though FLS knows that allowing customers to speak to a human being is still one major aspect of our business we are not willing to abolish. Having someone answer your call rather than being transferred to voice mail remains one of the most important priorities for FLS, which is why each customer is assigned a Customer Care Representative.

What is a Customer Care Representative?

 

A Customer Care Representative is your main contact should you need assistance in any aspect of your transportation needs. They are able to provide you with rates, load updates, equipment availability; basically any need relating to Transportation can be attained through your Customer Care Representative.

Not only does your Customer Care Representative guide you through your Transportation needs they will be there if there is a problem and ensure a timely solution. Our professional staff have the skills and qualifications to answer your questions and deal with your needs. Each staff member is debriefed on your business requirements prior to commencing business with you. Each member of our staff will be prepared to deal with your business needs from day one. This will save you time, money and give you the peace of mind knowing that your shipments are good hands.

Over the road Representatives

Our driver turnover rate isn’t less than 20% for no reason. We pride ourselves with the fact that our drivers also known as Over the Road Representatives, are in it for the long haul. Turnover has become the main priority for most carriers, which mean’s that their time is not on you. We know what it takes to keep drivers, but not just any driver, safe and efficient drivers. We know that drivers aren’t just looking for the carrier who pays a cent more a mile, they want a carrier who complies with the safety regulations that are out there. FLS has adopted a no nonsense business model that includes above average salaries, complete compliance with all Transportation governing agencies, new equipment, proper recruitment policies, continuous training and follow up programs and overall team spirit.
