providers that enables full door-to-door , or
port to port service of all international ocean
freight. Our ocean freight services cover all
delivery
requirements supported by a tariff structure
that is both simple and economical.
Forwarding services start with the analysis of
the transportation task. This allows us to find
the optimal route coupled with the best
time-to-cost variation. We handle small
non-containerized cargo, consolidate less than
container loads (LCL) and organize full
container load shipments (FCL) according to your
needs. Our well-established relations with
contract carriers mean that virtually every
schedule and delivery requirement can be
fulfilled to your satisfaction.

Less than Container Load (LCL)
• LCL is recognized as a very important part of
a total ocean freight system and substantial
resources are dedicated to system development
and maintenance.
• Pooled procurement programs are utilized for
both traditional LCL as well as LCL/FCL and
buyers’ consolidations.
• We run in-house systems that enable FLS Ocean
to control cargo flow, information flow, speed,

Full Container Load (FCL)

negotiated with first-class carriers to ensure
quality, space allotment and optimum pricing.
• All partner carriers that allow for direct EDI
links to simplify the flow of information and
documentation.
• In North America, FLS handles the inter-modal
transportation of FCL through electronic
sourcing to ensure seamless transfers.
