An Open Letter From Our CEO in Response to COVID-19

To Our Customers and Carrier Partners,

At FLS, the safety and well being of our employees, carriers and customers is always a priority, and we recognize the integral role we play in keeping supply chains moving and enabling the transport of essential goods throughout North America. With that understanding, I wanted to update you on the actions taken to date and our plans moving forward.

Aligning with health and government authorities 

We have a team dedicated to monitoring up to the minute notifications from the CDC, Public Health Agency of Canada and the WHO regarding COVID-19. We will continue to seek guidance from these public health agencies and act accordingly.

Protecting our Employees & Carriers 

We had in place a remote work contingency plan that we have enacted to keep our employees safe. Our business has continued to serve our customers in this remote work environment, even as demand volumes rise and capacity tightens. We have instructed our carriers who continue to operate in this difficult environment to act with their safety as a first priority. We have stopped all air travel and any non-essential face to face meetings. We are in daily communications with our teams and carriers and I couldn’t be more proud of their efforts to support your needs.

What you can expect from FLS going forward 

We will continue to support you in this very challenging and unique environment. Our technology, phones and TMS are designed to allow for remote work without a loss of productivity. We have been operating in this environment for the last two weeks and plan on doing so as long as health risks persist.

We appreciate the trust you have placed in FLS to move your goods throughout the North American supply chain and will continue to do so now and in the future.
